Once you Visit you are Sure to Return.
The thing about Turkey is that if you visit once you are sure to return.
Most visitors to Turkey are planning their return visit before their flight has even left the tarmac. Turkey has a charm all of its own, enticing visitors who return year after year, some then choosing to relocate or rent apartments.
Why is that you might think?
Apart from the beautiful weather in the region which pretty much guarantees wall to wall sunshine from May to October, the Turkish hospitality, the relaxed lifestyle and the beautiful country itself, ranging from mountains to sea and forests to cities play an even bigger part in the decision for people to visit again or relocate.
A recent report by the Directorate of Culture and Tourism and published by the Daily Sabah has reported that Brits love to visit the Mugla region especially the South Western coast namely Fethiye. Facts show that British people are not only the top nationality for tourism but also for property investment and retirement living.
It is not just the Brits that are flocking to Turkey, Russian, Germans, Netherlands and Ukrainians were also mentioned in the report. However, to a lesser extent than the Brits. It is said that of the 2.5 million British people who come to Turkey each year more than 50% of them visit the Mugla/Fethiye Region.
TURSAB the Turkish Travel Agents Association reported that British people show a trend to return to their destination often holidaying in the same place year after year. Closer to home, the Calis Tourism and Promotion Association state that approx 3500 British expats live in the area having been attracted by the weather, cost of living and friendly nature of the local people.
So there you have it. British people love Turkey especially the Mugla/Fethiye region.
Come and see for yourself! How can so many people be wrong?
